After a career as a marine biologist in the Maritime Provinces and delivering hundreds of commentaries on the fishery for CBC radio, it’s no wonder the sea is prominent in my work, including four non-fiction publications on coastal resources. I am now retired and live on the water near Halifax, Nova Scotia, giving voice to the personalities who pioneered the harvest of our marine resources and opened up this continent. Aideen’s Promise is my first novel.
